Regional Pub and Club of the Year Judging

The Branch needs to put forward some judges for the Regional Pub and Club of the Year. This involves visiting the PotY and CotY in the other Greater Manchester branches during March and April and carrying out the scoring using the standard forms.

Any Bolton CAMRA member is eligible to carry out the judging – if you are interested please contact the branch chair Graham Walsh.

Trip to Chester – 25th Feb 2017

On Saturday 25th February, Trafford & Hulme will visit the pubs of Chester for the first time inover two years.

Plan is to catch the 11.17 Northern Trains service from Manchester Piccadilly (Platform 12). Train calls at Stockport (11.26), Navigation Road (11.44) & Altrincham (11.46).

We arrive in Chester at 12.46

Pop-Up Pub at the Vaults

The Eagle and Child, Ramsbottom is currently undergoing refurbishment, and the pub has temporarily ‘moved’ to The Vaults at Bolton Market Place.

The pub has two changing real ales, and is open 10-11 Mon-Thu; 10-Midnight Fri & Sat; 10-11 Sun.
